Spread 2 slices of toast with Nutella.
Slice bananas and arrange on 1 slice of toast, then cover with other slice.
Enjoy as a quick breakfast or hunger-busting snack.
Nutella and Ricotta Croissant
Perfect when you want chocolate but you don’t want anything too sweet. The ricotta provides a lovely saltiness and balance to the Nutella.
Ingredients:
1 sheet of Puff Pastry
4 tsp fresh ricotta cheese
Melted butter for brushing
Icing sugar or cocoa for dusting
Method
• Pre-heat oven to 220 degrees celsius
• Cut puff pastry into quarters
• Spread nutella over pastry quarter
• Put 1 tsp ricotta into corner of quarter
• Roll diagonally and shape into a bow shape
• Brush with the melted butter
• Place onto a baking tray and bake for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown and pastry is flaky
• Remove from oven, make a cup of coffee and enjoy!
